Membership in KCRHCA provides companies a tool to survive
difficult times. Realizing the financial crunch, many companies
are experiencing, we have maintained membership dues at the
same rate for the last several years.
Kansas City Regional Home Care Association offers two (2)
types of membership, each of which contributes to the mission
of the KCRHCA.
The 2 categories of membership are:
Members: Consists of organizations which
as their primary purpose provide home care services or products
to the sick or disabled in their homes.
- One agency membership shall be allotted per branch/subunit/location.
Organizations with three or more locations (for example)
that choose to purchase one or two memberships must designate
which locations the membership(s) are for. Membership
benefits shall be limited to those locations. Three paid
memberships for an organization with three or more locations
will allow full membership benefits for all locations.
- Each agency membership will have one vote at all meetings
of the Association.

Cost of “Member” category
- $200.00 annually
|
Honorary/Courtesy Members: Consists of
persons or organizations interested in homecare and/or who
have distinguished themselves in furthering the purposes
of the KCRHCA (not open to direct home care providers).
- Honorary members are entitled to receive such benefits
as may be prescribed from time to time by the Board of
Directors.
- Honorary members can be recommended for by a member
agency and are approved by vote of the Board of Directors.
- Honorary members pay a minimal fee to cover the administrative
cost of membership benefits.
- Honorary membership does not include voting privileges
or the ability to serve on the Board of Directors.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Kansas City Regional Home Care Association (KCRHCA) “believes
that Home Care is an essential element in the continuum of
quality health care in the Kansas City area through education,
involvement, oversight and networking.”
Business meetings are held the third Thursday of each month
at 9:00 am.
All general meetings with the exception of December are held
at the Westwood City Hall, located at 4700 Rainbow Blvd.,
Westwood, KS.
With membership dues, your organization may participate in
meetings, educational events, and committee work. The following

In addition, the organization has:
- Committed funds to support education and committee
support.
- Provided Home Health Aide classes (six contact hours
each) for members companies at a very affordable price.
- Provided guest speakers on a variety of topics pertinent
to health care including PPS, home care information
systems, benchmarking opportunities, and annual conference
reports.
- Provided legislative and regulatory updates at
each monthly membership meeting.
- Provided marketing materials including informational
brochures.
- Provided a forum for companies to present ethical
issues to an impartial panel for discussion.
